Lullabye For The King Of Spain was originally conceived out of spite and recorded in the basement of 814 N. Hermitage Ave Chicago, IL on March 10th, 2005.
An experiment in minimalism in both gear & recording approach, the entire signal path consists solely of the Oscillator section of the Alesis Ion synthesizer manipulated in real time and sent directly to a Sony MZ-R37 Minidisc recorder. No effects, no overdubs, no treatments, just one zen drone.
It was then released in an edition of 23 CD-R's, some of which had painted clamshell cases.
It has now been lovingly remastered & is available widely for the first time.
